The Rural Roaming Room

The Rural Roaming Room is the name given to a series of portable structures that are used as a home point during the Lle Llais events. The structures were co-designed by Piers Taylor of Invisible Studio, and childen local to Ynys Môn during a series of workshops. The finished structure was produced by PEARCE+. Owen of PEARCE+ has written a blog post describing the design and build process in depth.

The Myth of the Looms

The Myth of the Looms is a short story written by Georgie Grant of The Onion Collective that brings to life the Rural Roaming Room, a painting workshop that was given amongst it and weaves it into local lore.

The story was composed into a PDF document that can serve as a teaching resource and is available for download here.

Lle Llais Map

This was a map created to help navigate children around the Lle Llais community engagement events. The map showed the four activity stations along with a place to receive a stamp for visiting each station and completing the activity - a mechanic used to gamify the experience and motivate completion.

Crwth Telyn

Crwth Telyn is a piece of music commissioned by Dr. Tristian Evans for the Public Map Platform project. The brief was to capture the essence of place - of Ynys Môn. The piece was the soundtrack to our Lle Llais compilation video which can be found on the project media page. The music file is available for listening here.
